Christmas in April

Family Time

Peter's dad stops in every now and then for a hunting trip. The best part is he will stay then night, which means the girls get lots of teasing and playtime in. How the Grinch Stole Christmas was a gift from Peter's parents this year and the girls just loved it, especially Cindy Lou Who, since Graci had been sporting "who hair" for quite a while. Peter's mom loves to sew dresses and Piper is wearing one of her latest creations in this picture. This is also the first time I attempted pig tails on Graci.

Going Green

We recently had a new heating and cooling system installed. It's a geothermal heat pump and it uses the constant temperature of the earth (55 degrees) to heat and cool our home, as opposed to heat run on gas and air conditioning that uses a compresser. It's the "green" way to go because it uses so much less energy. Yes, we are "going green," but you know what else it uses a lot less of? Our money. That's the real motivation here, people. The electric company throws money at you and so does the government when you put one of these things in and it doesn't take long to earn the cost of the unit and installation back. These pictures are from the installation a few weeks ago.

Cute Pics

Enjoy these cute pictures of the girls! They are getting big fast! Most of these are from almost a year ago.
Ahh, the classic kids in the tub pic.

Graci learning how to use a spoon. She loves yogurt.
Loved those pajamas.

Graci sporting one of her many battle wounds.

Emptying my purse is always guaranteed entertainment.

I wore this shirt when I was her age.

(It says: Niagra Falls, Let's Face It, I'm Cute!)

Last Spring

Here is a cute picture from last spring that hasn't made it to the blog yet. My good friends, Natalie and Ray came to visit along with Ray's mom, Lana. She brought some cute K-State dresses, so I snapped this photo before church and before Graci grew out of hers!
