Luckily for all of my faithful blog readers Peter is at a stake meeting tonight, so I have time to post some pictures. Lucky for me I have awesome sisters-in-law who provided my girls with cute Halloween costumes. I have been so busy lately I don't know what I would have done. Meredith found Piper's Elmo costume and Jenny gave me the cute cat hat Graci is sporting. We didn't do much trick-or-treating, but we did go to a trunk-or-treat combined with one other ward. On Hallow's Eve I made Xena some cute bat wings to wear and Peter commented on how I spent more time on her costume than the girls'. Like I said, thanks to Meredith and Jenny I had the time to spare for cute little Xena. Peter and I dressed up as hunters, though he made sure I knew I was a "huntress." He then informed me that couples hunting is very common and sounds like a lot of fun. Too bad I have never shot a gun! I prefer to do the eating.
After trunk-or-treat we came home, had a little "real" food and headed over to a party with the girls out in the country about 20 minutes from our house. Peter's friend from college lives on about 5 acres and Piper had a blast going to the stable and seeing the two horses and several cats. We ate insane amounts of sugar cookies and headed home after a fun and satisfying Halloween.
